Health & Safety
Working Together For A Safer Industry
A significant number of our members consist of small and medium sized enterprises, often family-owned and deeply connected to their local communities. Consequently, the well-being and safety of their workforce remain at the heart of their operations. As some of these members may lack dedicated health and safety staff, they rely on external support to ensure adherence to the latest working practices.
The Association actively participates in QNJAC (Quarries National Joint Advisory Committee) to provide vital health and safety guidance for quarries. Additionally, BAA members are actively engaged with industry forums to further support expertise and good practice.
