We Are Your Association
Since our establishment in 1999, the BAA has been at the forefront of building extensive relationships with key stakeholders, including the UK Government, Civil Service, and European Authorities.
We actively engage with the Government, ensuring the representation of smaller independent and UK-owned companies in all forms of legislation. The BAA supports the frontline quarry industry, defends against illegal cartels, and respond to government consultation papers. We have member committees for planning, health & safety, transport and representatives on various advisory bodies, including QNJAC and MPQC. We are proud active members of influential organisations such as CBI, CPA and the UK Minerals Forum.
